Praise the Lord... we were able to replace our downstairs carpet with wood (laminate) flooring. Thanks to our friend Josh who came over and helped rip up the old dirty carpet, and then Kevin's uncle Curt along with our friend Kevin helped lay down the flooring. And thanks to uncle Curt's expertise we ended up with four extra boxes of flooring and one roll of padding, so now we can afford to get an area rug. Hurray!!!
We had been saving for a while to get new floors downstairs and every time we had enough something happened (i.e. our old computer broke) and we ended up using our floor money on something else. So the fact that its done is such a blessing! Kevin wouldn't have been able to do it on his own, so we really appreciate our friends and family who helped us out.
