Christmas on 12-26-08

This year my family decided to get together on Dec 26th for Christmas because there are so many of us now that it's almost impossible for all of us to get together on Christmas Day (all those in-laws!) The great thing about this Christmas is that it was the first time that my whole family has been together since my wedding (2 1/2 years ago). There are 30 of us now and it took an hour and a half for us to open all the gifts and let me tell you we were trying to get through it quickly. We did a potluck lunch which was delicious and just hung out and played games for most of the afternoon. Then the tricky part came when we started taking family pictures. We got pictures of all the siblings, then all the siblings with my parents, each individual family, all the nieces and nephews(12 and growing) and then finally the big group picture. It took a lot of work, especially to round everyone up but it was worth it in the end. And I think everything turned out great! I love my family..... most of the time :)
